Description: Located in the eastern part of the Emirate of Sharjah on Kalba Lagoon, and close to a unique RAMZAR natural reserve site, this development complements the adjacent Kalba Eco-Tourism Development which includes a mall, mosque and flagpole. It includes the design of a three story, 200-bedroom hotel, a large ballroom, and a luxury spa, set within generous landscaped recreation areas with several swimming pools and water features, all focused on the Kalba lagoon with its iconic fountain, and the 75m high flagpole of the UAE. The project displays aspects of environmental sustainability in the various planning and design dimensions, while expressing a contemporary architectural character that reflects the identity of this unique place through the use of local materials and details inspired by the architectural heritage of the region.
